Hello All,
I received my single entry immigrant visa from Canadian embassy in Buffalo. I am planning to make entry to Canada from Detroit, in the third week of October.
I was wondering if anybody knew answers to the following, about PR and SIN application process.
1) Can I use my single entry visa to enter Canada, use my friend's address in Canada as my residence address in Canada, stay in Canada for the bare minimum time required to complete application process to PR and SIN (say over the weekend) and re-enter USA, before getting PR Card and SIN in hand ?
2) Is it alright if my friend ships the PR Card to me, that he will receive on his address in Canada, and eventually, if I use that PR to re-enter Canada ?
The whole idea behind doing this exercise, is to enter Canada with PR Card and SIN in hand, so that I can start working there (say any minimum wage job till finding engineering job, just to survive) immediately after I enter Canada.
Could anyone suggest if that is legal / efficient way of doing it ? Are there any members here who have done this ? If so, would you have any guidence to give ?
I would really appreciate help.
