Thanks for helpful replies to my previous questions.
If I work (and pay taxes) and reside in the US 6 months of the year and spent the remaining 6 months abroad and work and pay foreign taxes. (this due to the fact that my spouse and children do not have PR yet) Am I risking anything as far as my PR?
When I petition for my family will they be able to enter the US as visitors?

Hi

Can you please give me some advise or your opinions.
Thank you so much. Following is my situation.

*******
I got my green card via consular processing in July' 2003 and received the PR card in August' 2003.
I am getting married in December and due to some important reasons, I am having to move to Canada for more than an year.

My company is letting me tele-commute from Canada, but the problem is - my employment here will be terminated on paper and I will be re-hired in Canada as an employee there.

1) Is it advisable to apply for the re-entry permit?
2) Is it advisable to stay with the company at all?
3) Would it be a safer way to quit the job and keep entering U.S every 3 months to maintain the status?
I have family here in U.S and can, that way maintain a physical address.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Thank you so much!
