Soon i will be going for pp stamping. i just have one question, will the people at uscis office will keep I-94 along with 485 approval notice or they will return i94 to us.
 
They will keep I-94 and provide you a temporary permanent resident stamping on ur passport which will be valid for one year.

I just went for stampping y'day and they took I-94 , Photos and Approval letter and stampped passport with LPR status for 1 year

They didnt ask for any EAD's & AP's though .. for which some folks were asked for and have to give away.
 
Hi All,

Few questions regarding Photo specifications for PP stamping :

1. They are regular PP style colour photos?
2. Do they have to be 2x2 exactly or less?
3. Are we supposed to write our name and A# on the photo?


After the PP stamping,should we goto SSA to remove the employment restriction?

3. A# for sure.. not sure about Name... Doesn't hurt
4. Yes, get the SSN Employment restriction removed if possible...
 
Is pp stamped is good for going out of the country and coming back in as there was some news sometime back that now u need to have a card to travel. i am planning for a trip to india in january.
