Location INS San Diego, 880 Front street. First time went on 5/31 at 1:30 pm, because the approval letter said that INS is open till 2:00 pm, but found that INS closed entry at 12:00 pm. Went on 6/3 at 7:30 am, and got done by 10:30 am. I found that the queue to enter INS was longer in the early morning than at 10:00 am. However, INS personnel said that they would close entry at 11:00 am on that day.
INS personnel, who stamped my passport said that the card will arrive in mail in approximately 6 - 9 months. My lawyer had said that nowadays card takes about 5 - 6 weeks to arrive.
Good luck to all of you waiting out there.
