PP stamping -- Do we need the approval notice sent to the lawyer

Hello:

Our 485 dot approved on 02/02/04 and we have received the approval notice, but our lawyer has not received them yet.

We are planning to get our passports stamped at our local INS (Atlanta). Is the approval notices sent to us enough to get our passports stamped.
