Hi:

Just wanted to let you all know that our passports have been stamped in Newark, NJ office. The whole process took about 5 minutes. The lady took our figerprint, signature (on some form), EAD cards and 2 ADIT style photos each. She then stamped our passports (wrote the EAC#, A# and someother stuff in the passport) and returned it back, saying that the actual cards will be mailed in 4-6 months.

I have one question...are employers aware that a stamp on the passport is proof enough (atleast till the next year) for employment? Also I thought pp stamping means that a visa-style paper with photo etc. will be put in the passport. Almost seems like an anti-climax to such a painful process.
