PP Stamped at INS San Jose

I got my PP stamped at INS San Jose on 25th June. I reached INS at about 2AM there were about 70-80 people ahead of me. I was out by 10:00 AM. Ciba please add me to plastic card waiting list.

I would like to know whether it is possible for a person to go to the INS office early during the day for stamping, instead of going there at midnight. It is very difficult to be there in the office at 3.00 AM with small children. Would you please give information as to whether it would be possible for one to get the passport stamped, if he reaches the INS office early during the day, say at 7.00 AM.

The day I went I saw people who came between 6 and 7AM were able to enter at about 9AM and they got numbers, but I don\'t know that there cases were processed the same day or not ( since I left INS office around 10AM). I guess once you are in, its supposed to done the same day. BUT what I have heard is that it changes every day. Because I know people who went between 5 and 6 and were asked to come next day.

okay folks,
I am sure now that one can take appointment with the INS for PP
stamping. the colleague I had mentioned earlier has got an appt
for next monday July 9th, 1pm -3 pm. I think all of u should
talk to your lawyers about taking appt. for the stamping.

This is good news, you dont have to wait in the queue for so many
hours...

I would recommand going there as early as possible.

I and my wife went to San Jose INS office around 5:30 AM
and we could not get in. I guess it also depends on
what day you go... Just my opinion.

We had to go next day around 3.00 am and were 150th person
on the line BUT we got the stamp...
