Probably tr22 meant to say that resources would once again be diverted for this effort and that would be one more excuse in BCIS's list of excuses on why 485 speed is not picking up.
 
this is another way of making money for USCIS - invite more and more people in the queue and sqeeze money out of them every year for one reason or the other.

IT is good news for those illegals

If you read the news this is what it says.
Government officials are obligated under the settlement to expedite their applications.

Does that mean that the 485 folks have to wait until these applications are processed. Who knows. I only wish it doesnt.
