I am re-posting my message here, hoping someone who is in a similar situation might answer this.
How is the BCIS dealing with I-485 cases lately where the applicant is a prospective employee (who will be joining the sponsored company only after GC is approved). Is the BCIS approving cases where someone responds to an RFE by providing a letter from future employer (who filed LC, I-140 & I-485) saying that the job offer still exists and the applicant will be joining them after GC approval
or
Is the BCSI insisting that the applicant needs to join the future employer as soon as he gets EAD ?
