Post USC - filing I-130 for family pref - pointers needed

Wife is taking oath on Jan 6th. Planning on applying I-130 for her sister and their family. Does anyone has any experience on resources to share?
What would be the list of documents ?
If her sis does not have birth cert what are the alternatives ?
Are any threads on this matter already open ?

All help deeply appreciated.
