Post pone oath ceremony?

For name change does anyone know how long will it take to receive the oath letter.
My wife's has a name change and her interview was done 2 weeks back, we already made plans for a month long trip to out of country in October.
Does anyone know the process of post poning the oath ceromony if I receive the letter before we leave? and
also in case we receive oath letter when we are not in the country?

You can only postpone after receiving the oath letter, which you will have to attach a copy of the oath letter. However, USCIS has been going hi-tech, maybe there is a new system. If the letter comes while you are abroad, nothing can be done unless you have someone who can open it and give you the news about oath date.
 
thanks for the reply. I am planning to ask my friend to check my mail when i am out, hopefully it comes in time to reschedule.
