I had CP interview on Feb 22 and everything went fine. I did POE on March 4th at SFO. Got the temporary visa stamp in my passport. I even applied for my new SSN at the SSN office without any problem. My main concern is this.
Even before I left to chennai for CP interview, my company gave me a deadline for my employment as March 15th. After this time I was to work in their India office. I was happy I could finish the CP interview in Feb. I got my Feb paystub. After the interview and before POE, I spoke to my HR who told that I would be with the company only till March 31st after which I have to pack my bags and leave to India.
Now after POE, I am in a dilemma as to whether I should provide the I9 form to the employer. Till date no one knows that I got my temporary GC. I used my vacation time to go for CP interview. Since my company let know earlier that I am not required for them from March, does it jeopradize my intent to work in any way.
Anyone who has been in a similar problem please help!!!
