Hi guys,
I come to ask help for a friend of mine who married to a USC about a year ago and current under a conditional GC.
There are some problems in their marriage that they couldn't work out. They are separated and discuss divorce on a daily basis right now. But they are still friends. The wife is very nice. She agreed to still sponsor his GC and will file with him to remove the condition even after the divorce. They do have joint account, 401K and insurance together and stuff like that. She agreed to keep all the document the way it is. Without marriage certificate, even with other proofs, can she still sponsor his GC?
Thanks for any info.
