Possible Sloution for Administrative name check

Hi,
i dont know that i am right or wrong.But i have a possible solution for administrative name check.
Actually i recall that when i applied for canadian permament residency i had to get my FBI fingerprinting done,and all i was required was the passport and a reason for finger printing. and we got the fingure printing results in 6wks.
So i was thinking is it a good idea to get the finger printing done yourself and take the results with u to the consulate for interview for just in case scenario.
it costed only $18 per person.
Any take Is it a good idea and is thereany chance that consulate will honor this or it might be helpful in any way.

Will appreciate your opinion

They want to see name check clearance on their machines and systems (that's what the consul told me during the CP interview) - so I am afraid our own FBI/fingerpint checks won't do.

I had my wife's name-check issue; we had her FBI fingerprint clearance (that you mention in your post) with us which the consul showed to her supervisor but later told us our check won't do.

It means there is nothing which we can do to prevent this unnecessary trouble and all is left is to keep the fingers crossed while interview.

I am not perhaps upto date on this topic? what is this related to - the name check and administrative processing?? Can you please shed some light?

Dilbert,
Administrative name check is ordered when one go for CP interview and unluckily his/her name and DOB matches the black listed name in the FBI list.
You can get more detail info. by reading the article"FBI Name Check" by raju595.
If you will go thru all the posts u'll find that some previous applicants like "cannon576" ,"Jaynagar1" and some others have been caught into trouble becoz of this.
