Possible reasons for F1 rejection -

LucyMo and other experts,

I hear that if a foreign student has I-20 from any community college in USA, possibility of getting F1 visa is very less.

Is this true? Do they prefer giving F1 visa to students from Univrsities only?

I have GC. My girlfriend who is an Italian citizen will be applying for F1 visa based on I-20 from one of the community colleges. Since she is a European citizen will it be easier for her to get F1 visa?

On I156 form she has mentioned that her initial stay in US will be with me and of course she won't discolse that she has a boyfriend in US.She has required documents to show she has financial support from her parents.

I'm not an expert, but have been following up the update of this issue for long.

From what I have heard, it's better not to let the embassy know that she has a boyfriend in the US. It's quite risky.

Yes, she won't say that she has a boyfriend. However, is it risky to give my address as her initial residential address?

I am not sure how risky it is, but I think she better gives the university's address instead of yours.
