Possible Link between FP and Stutus update

Guys,

I just noticed in my FP notice that there is no application number given. It's blank. When I got FP for my wife last year, it had the application number and her status changed to FP received and then to resumed within a week. Whereas in my case I did my FP 3 months back and 485 status is still received on so and so date.

It may be just my guess but it seems like if you have your status updated on-line, there are more chances that your application will be picked by system when ready to adjudicate. whereas on the other side even though your application is ready with FP and everything, since there is no application number on FP Notice to do auto status update for FP, the system may never find your application as ready to adjudicate until an officer manually checks it.

Please check your FP notices and share your experiences.

Mine is getting updated everyday, message is same but date is changing, today is 6th day in a row.I don't know what's going on.

In case you live in Dallas, do you have any kind of knowledge of hotel for lodging of reasonable charge near Dallas District office 8101 North Stemmons Freeway? I live in LA.

very interesting theory. can everyone please check their notices and share info? my FP notice had an application number and the status has been updated on the uscis website.

Sorry srbose, But for last 3 and 1/2 years in Dallas, I never had to look for lodging here. I know this from the sign board over the freeway that you can get a good motel/hotel from $40 to $50 per night. If you are looking for weekly rental then it's cheaper, probably less than $200/week.

That area in one mile radius is not good for family people, specially at night as there are so many clubs and bars around. If you are new to Dallas, just be careful at night. If you are going to rent a car, then you can actully get better deals around there within 2-3 miles range.
