I\'ve read in this discussion group that we can get iEAD at Newark, NJ without any appointment.
My question is - will the Newark INS office entertain a iEAD case where there is an RFE from Vermont.
My Case details are as follows:
Processing center - Vermont
RD - 9/18/01
ND - 11/14/01
One month back the automated message said that my EAD has been approved on 11/21/01 and it has been sent for printing
Recently the message changed to - An RFE was issued on Jan 17 2002.
My lawyers office has not yet received the RFE, so I don\'t know what the RFE is for. Lawyer thinks the photos maybe a reason but we are not sure.
Meanwhile I would like to apply for iEAD at Newark.
Will Newark entertain my request in light of the RFE?
Can someone also please tell me what documents I need, to apply for iEAD? I can think of - copy of I765 app., copy of INS receipt for EAD & 485, passport and other forms of ID.
Do I need photographs?
Any information is appreciated.
