possibility of entering the US on H1B before Sept 21st

Hi All,

i have my H1B approved for this year and i was wondering if anyone knows about the possibility of entering the US before sept 21st. My best friend is getting married on the first week of september and he really wants me to be there. Is there anyway for me to get a tourist visa and just do the change of status thing to H1B on or a little after 21st of september. Any input will be greatly appreciated

They allow you to come 4 days ahead of October 1, 2007. That's what my guess is.

Check with others as well, in rahasiam.com , as i had several situations like this before.
