I am going to the carribeans for school. I wanted to know, in terms of customs and coming back to US, which port of these two were better: miami or peurto rico.

I am going there on AP, while I have already applied for I-485 and is still pending. My school is for a year and half, and I do intend on coming back to US every four months.

I don't know of any difference in terms of immigration. But you'll have many more flight choices if you go skip Puerto Rico and go use Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
