I got my H1 stamped from Mumbai consulate. My employer is from New Jersey.
My question is what should be the port of entry in US. Is there any law which says that your port of entry should be the same as your Employer state (in my case New Jersey). I mean my port of entry must be New jersey or it can be any other state. I am planning to visit my friend who lives in chicago. I am thinking of first going to chicago and from there to New Jersey.
Now will there be any problem at port of entry if I go chicago first
