Hi Everyone,

1) I have got my Immigration Visa and would be traveling to the US within 2 weeks. The consular officer didn't collect our medical X-Rays when they took the reports. Do we need to carry the X-rays with us in Unchecked baggage during the trip?

2) Can you post your experience at a POE? How long does the procedure take and what kind of questions are asked? And, in how many days will we receive our GC's?

{This is normal. You can keep the X-rays in your checked baggage. They
do not normally ask for them at the POE}

{The forum lists hundreds of POE experiences. Other than general
conversation they do not ask any questions at the POE. They will
ask you to provide finger print from your index finger and with the
new rules they may also take a photograph (I am not sure about this).

They tell you that it can take upto 1 year to receive your card. But
in most of the cases the card arrives in about 30 days. Again th forum
