Hi All,

I remember mentioning POE as Newark in my applications to NVC. But now I am not getting flights into Newark (for reasonable price). I have return flights into another airport.

Will this be a problem ?

Appreciate your quick response as I am in the process of booking my tickets for my iterview in Nov.

Regards
Sam

I assume you meant to say New York at one place above.

Anyway, there is no problem even if the Airport you choose is not in the place you reside.

The first sentence in my response above is wrong, I misread the original post.

POE at a different airport than the closest one to your address is OK. I read sometimes they may point it out, but what is needed is a good explanation. That's all.

Hi,

My question is does it make a difference which POE you are entering in after getting CP from India. Will the details be sent to USCIS corresponding to that POE for plastic card or will the details be sent to USCIS corresponding to your present state of residence. If it is POE based then I might have to change my travel plans. Also any opinion as of which POE issues plastic card promptly. And finally who issues the plastic cards POE or USCIS service center?

Thanks a lot for reply.

If you have already bought the tkts. It's not worth changing it.

It does not matter which POE you enter at. Plastic cards are issued by the service center. After the your quetions seems all cryptic. But in any case, just relax follow your plans.
