political asylum

I just got married a few months back and I am a permanent resident here in US. My wife has been granted asylee status through her own case. I wanted to take my wife back to our home country. She has just filed her 485 through her asylum case. In the mean time, I have also filed for her I-130 through my green card. I want to know if se can obtain an advance parole to visit her home country and have any problems while coming back to US.

If that is not an option, how long would my I-130 take? Once I get that, can I take an advance parole when I apply for 485 for my wife through my green card, to go to our home country?
Please advise the best solution.

"Asylum is granted to people who are already in the United States and are unable or unwilling to return their home country because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership "

Sure She will have problem while entering back in USA. How she can justify when Asked about visit to her home country(where one fear he/she might be Vicitim of Politcial Vendetta ) when her Status is political asylee

It is not good Idea to Visit her home country while here I-485 based upon asylee status is pending

consult a lawyer.

This has got to be a joke, right?

If not, it's BS. People like your wife are abusing the system.
We're working hard, doing things legally, and to read your
post sickens me.

It's like the time they proposed granted amnesty for 5,000,000
"undocumented workers" - read ILLEGAL aliens - from Mexico.
It's BS.

you have to understand based on the immigration council, there are humanitarian grounds on which an asylee(once an advance parole is issued) can visit his or her home country as long as he or she does not voluntarily avail himself to that country. What if you have a old parent or grand parent that is sick. That is not
illegal. Please give me your input on that.

thanks

Honestly don't know. Beyond the scope of this group, I would venture.
Maybe a lawyer but first try browsing the other immigration forums on this immigrationportal.com. There's asylum stuff there I think. Anyone else?

Also try immigrationx.com.

I dont think Humanitarian grounds, is a good reason for travel on AP if your life is in danger, either by a political entity, or racial vendetta, or terrorist activities.

Because when you apply for political Asylum, you specifically mention the dangers to your life if deported or denied.

But would advise to consult a real good Asylum Lawyer
