Political Asylum Vs. Greencard NEED HELP

I really need help.
Here is my timeline
1998 --- enter to US with B1 Visa
1999 -- Change to F1 visa in the US
2001 -- Applied Asylum, got denied, and back to F1.
2004 -- OPT
2005 --- back to F1 for master.
Oct 2006 --- Tried to reapply asylum but there is no news that immigration accept my application. My lawyer said they received my application but looking for my old asylum files. I was angry with my lawyer and thought he was a liar.

Jan 2007 --- 2nd OPT from my master
April 2007 --- apply for H1 and got approved
February 2008 --- got married with my beloved wife (USC)
Today, March 13, 2008, I got a letter for interview on March 29 regarding asylum application I filed in October 2006.

My wife is going to apply me a greencard ( I-130 I believe) because we are marriege.

Now, I'm so confuse because I got a letter from asylum office for interview and this week, I'm working on application for greencard from marriage.

I've been reading the discussion, the best way is to withdraw my current asylum application and did not come to interview. However, I'm not sure.

I need your help and suggestions please.
