Police record and medical report

I have sent my application form back to kcc, can i start preparing my police record and medical report or I sholud to receive my interview date?
 
Wait till you get the 2nd NL. Different countries adopt different methods. In Sri Lanka police clearence is initiated by the embassy.
 
If I were you I'd find out where you're likely to have the medical (in the same country as picking up your visa) and see how far in advance you can get the medical done. The medical / police certificate may only be valid for 6 months so doing them too early is a waste of money.
