Police Clearance

I will be receiving the P3 shortly. I have not got the Police Clearance Certificate yet .

1. Do they ask for Police Clearance to be submitted along with P3 ? I will going to New Delhi Consulate for interview.

2. Also I do not have my wife's name in my passport as it was issued before our marriage while my wife has my name in her passport. We both have been in US for more than 3 years now. Is it must to add her name to my passport or it should be OK without that.

{Normally they don't. }

{We have read about candidates having the spouses' names
annotated in the passports in preparation for the interview.
I don't believe this is an absolute requirement}
