Police Clearance & Packet 3 & Income tax

My case has just reached NVC.
1. What is the right time to apply for Police clearance certificate ?My CP will be from India.
2. What all docuemnts are required ( copies of documents) before submitting P3 ?
3. Which forms are required to be submitted in response to P3?
4. How to get tax transcripts . I have been filing tax returns for last three years? Is just the copy of W2 enough or we need to get some trancript from IRS ?

1. What is the right time to apply for Police clearance certificate ?My CP will be from India.
Answer: You may want to apply for PCC in another 1 month time since it is taking about about 6-8 months after I-140 clearance to get a CP interview. Getting PCC takes 45 days plus assume 5-7 days for mailing passports back and forth. So a total of 50 days. Remember pcc for india is valid for 6 months prior to the interview. So dont apply sooner....pcc is required only at the time of cp interview.

Answer: Same as answer to 2 above.

4. How to get tax transcripts . I have been filing tax returns for last three years? Is just the copy of W2 enough or we need to get some trancript from IRS ?
Answer: Call 800-829-1040 and request for last 3 years. I would recommend carrying IRS transcripts plus W-2 plus state tax forms that you have filled for last 3 tax years.
