Police clearance from the US

Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie to this forum & appreciate the knowledge and experience being shared among its users.

I have a question that probably has an obvious answer, but I's like to be 100% prepared for my interview: I was a temporary resident (L1) in the US back in 2002 & 2003, and the selectee page indicates:
"Note: Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S. "

Nevertheless, has anyone ever had the experience of being asked for a US police clearance?

They wont ask you any US police certificate at the interview, they will run the search themselves,
