Today I recieved RFE from NVC stating that my wife's visa application documents are incomplete and that I need to submit PCC. But I had already submitted PCC from Passport Office and also from local Police station. We had sent documents in 2 sets, one originals and one in true copy. I dont know why they are asking for PCC again.

My family got some form from Passport office in Thane and from there they were directed to police station who gave them the PCC. PCC had picture of my wife and declaration that no adverse record exists for the said person. Isnt that enough? Is there anything else I need to submit? Passport office said that was it. Dont know what to do now.

Anyone out here got PCC from Thane? Please reply.

Hi,
That should be good. I did the same for my dad. I got the PCC from Hyd passport office. It came with a letter with his picture and had the stamp on it, And also stamp in the passport stating that PCC was issued and he is clean and good. I sent them the original PCC letter and Notarised copy of the passport page which has PCC stamp in it, They accepted it and it was fine.
Seems like you followed every thing right. Call NVC and ask them what exactly they need.

Thanks Bigbull99. Even though they said I need not send them PCC again, I have asked my wife to send them copy of passport and PCC certificate one more time. Just in case. I hope they schedule interview soon.
