police certificates from USA?

good evening guys,
i'm just getting ready to mail the application to Buffalo office for permanent residence in Canada, i have all the documents except the police certificates from my native country and FBI.
the question is, is CIC going to accept the application without the police certificates, or just returned back to me?
i know they are only good for 6 months and they will ask again for new ones anyway later on, correct?

From our experience, police certificate from native country is a MUST. We had gone through some problem when we tried to obtain this documents.
Another experience that I must specify to everyone benefit: The Canadian Immigration also accept live scan fingerprinting. This method will save at least 3 months of waiting time. The reason why I state this, because our lawyer doesn't even know that this is acceptable (???):confused:
We had to insist them to submit our document without ink based FBIcheck. (I have a severe skin problem in my fingers). Hope this is help.
 
you may be able to get police certificate from the consulate of your country in US. That is how we got them. They were accepted by CIC.

I am also preparing all the docs for applying Canadian PR through Buffalo office. As per my knowledge and enquiry with my friends, I understood that we have to mail the police certificates of native country (can be obtained from the consultae in US), FBI clearance and english test results too. Regarding english test, some said we can attest a letter that confirms that the applicant has fluency in english. Some said they will ask us to take the exam.

Protech immigration people told me that we have to take the exam.
Regarding the Police Celarance, they said, they can be taken later. But friends who applied on their own have taken the clearances before applying.
