l am doing CP in Paris and since l lived in Uruguay and Canada l am requesting Police checks from both. l am having some very different experiences:
Uruguay: Very difficult. They call it "certificado de buena conducta" and say "private" people cannot ask for it, only special administrations (for example in my case the US embassy could ask for it...) and that they would only send it to them. Has anyone ever asked a Police check in Uruguay before?
Canada: sounds too easy, l just had to call the police and give my name and CC number and they are sending it to me. ls it possible to be so easy?!
What about France? Could anyone tell me where they asked it? (since l am not living in France at the moment it would help me to know in advance).
