Some more explaination about 'Not focusing too much on G.C '

its mean G.C is not only sucess in this world. I have seen ppl who run after like wearing 'blindfold on eye' , after all they learned the unreverseable price they paid is more higher they paid for. und what I am trying to say.

17 years old,..... Have a drivers license.

Well,
As per your post in this group, you tend to look at life at the +ve side.
The same thing happens with Tom. He is stuck at the airport by the immgration officer, who is not willing to allow him to enter US nor can he deport him back to his home country.
So he stays there for almost a year at the terminal, still feeling happy about it and has no complaints to the immigration people.
He does not care when he is granted the permission to enter US.

The whole film is on this. Also directed by steven speilbery.

Watch it. and you will realize.

Susan I could not help but notice your pain in the above words.

I am a mom and I know what you are talking about.

My 14 year son's case is seperated and I am waiting for him to get his approval.

How ever I am fortunate that all 4 of us in my family are together so I am spared the pain you are going through.

All I can say is look at the big picture and hope your hard times results in a lot of positive results for your family.

As POJ said look at the positive side and as long as all family members are doing well, just hang in their and hope for the approval to come to you soon.

I would like to say if u haven't get chance to talk TSC directly, plz do so, on 800 customer service no they also have option for 'Multiple applicaion , seperated' when u call u would find a nice lady replies, I always recommend ppl, becz I found her very cooperative, she does understand and help out on the issuses (if geniune).

Try it nothing to lose. (I am assuming u know how to contact TSC directly, if not post it I would post again)

Thanks POJ,
I have already contacted TSC and got them to send FP for my 14 year old son.
He completed the FP on May 18th and I have since in touch with TSC on a weekly basis.
His FP cleared and the TSC was waiting for the Name check clearance.
Last Thursday TSC said the Name check was cleared and we should get the approval in 2 weeks.
I hoe to have his case approved soon.

Thank you for your kind words and yes so much pain is caused by these immigration people.

My son is stuck in the UK since Jan 2002.

First his case got separated from fathers case and got worked before fathers case so came back denied

With denial letter said reapply once father had green card so we did this and eventually got him approved Aug 2004.

The TSC sent London approval, but, London did not receive!!!!!!!!!!!

Managed to get London/congressman to respond and at least try to find out where case is

Now London says it will need to check if son is protected under CSPA (Child status protection act)

My attorney has confirmed he is protected under CSPA but London needs advisory opinion from Dept of State!!!!!!!!!!!!

London requested this on 29th April 2005 and no news as yet!!

As father. mother (me) , brothers are in the US this leaves last remaining son stuck in UK till resolved. He can only visit on visa waiver at present and always gets to go for secondary questions which makes him very nervous even to visit

So yes your are right, this really pulls the heart strings for the whole family!!

To make matters worse, there have been times when my advanced parole has expired and awaiting renewal. Should my son be ill or anything happen during this time I would loose my right to GC without getting AP first if I just flew back to the UK

I would really love for a group of us to contact the TV stations to highlight just how us hardworking/ good/legal immigrants are treated it is a disgrace

I can feel your pain and frustration. It is hard to be seperated from the loved ones, specially our child/children.
I wish you for the best - and I pray for you and your family - hopefully this disaster will end soon.

I can feel your pain.My H1b was expired and my son got stuck in India.It took 1 year to bring him here.I can not tell you how much frustreted we were during that time.Yes TV and Media can help.

I did not know about your situation with your son. I thought there was a kind of law that had to keep families together or something like that, but apparently that was in my head only. I'm very sorry. Unfortunately I can just offer you my shoulder to cry...because is no lie that USCIS is lacking humanitarian aid, among many other things.
