POE of family members at different time

Is it possible that myself and my wife enter in US (after CP) at different time. I want to extend my wife\'s stay for sometime and want her to enter 1-2 months after me.
Is there any problem? Do we get one packet per family or one packet per individual so that we can enter at different point of time.
Has anyone done it?

This is possible and since U are the primary applicant you have to enter first and your dependends can join you within 6 months.
 
Each family member gets a separate IV packet from Consulate

Dependent immigration visa holders can use their IV visa ONLY after the primary has excercised his IV Visa by making an entry at any US post.
In your situation you, as primary would have already come into US. Wife as a dependednt can make a following entry after you. Remmeber that the IV visa is valid for 6 mnths from the date of issuance.
