POE - Gurus - Do they keep the immigrant visa page with them?

Gurus,
Thanks to GOD, we got our immigrant visas.
At POE, I know that they take finger prints, and stamp the passport.
-However, do they keep the immigrant visa page with them, OR do they return it back?

Also,how about the contents of the sealed envelope? Do they return these or keep it with them? The consular officer took our original PCC\'s; so I want to know if I will get them back

INS takes the whole package at the POE

only ur passport is returned and usually X-ray is not even asked for.
about PCC, in my case, consular asked if I\'ve a copy of the PCC, so that he can return me the original and i told him to take the original as the PCC specifically mentioned that it\'s for US purpose.
Anyway, PCC is not asked for at POE, if that what u r concerned about..k...Good Luck...

Make a copy of the IV page BEFORE your entry. Other than the I-551 stamp in your passport, this will be the only record you\'ll have of your A# after entry (until you receive your PR card). And before you leave the POE, make sure the A# is correctly and legibly indicated with the stamp -- I know of a collegue whose stamp lacked the A# and he did not keep a copy of the IV (duh!)
