POE different from the GC adress????

My company's head office is in Vigrinia and the GC process carried out from there,and i am working in oklahoma on a project . I'll be giving a friends address in VA for physical Green Card to arrive as i'll be moving from here by then.My ques is:
when i come back after interview Do my POE has to be Virginia or it can be anywhere in US.
Is consular afficer aware where i'll be travelling to and is there any chances of questioning at all during interview or POE.

Your POE can be any road border with Canada or Mexico, US sea port, or international airport in the USA (LAX, JFK ORD etc), or in the case of Canada, any pre-flight US immigration point at a Canadian airport. It does not matter what address you have given in the application.

At the POE you have the option of changing the address where you want your green card to be mailed. You can give a different address (a friend's address) without problem. Just make sure that the friend does not move in the next 6-8 months. You will probably get the card in about a month, but it is better to be safe.

In my case my POE was the Ambassador Bridge connecting USA and Canada in Detroit. I gave the permanent address of a friend in Boston, who has no chance of moving, for mailing the GC though I do not live in Boston.
