Pls. some one answer-IMP Questions

I am trying to apply my Canada PR at Buffallo. I would appreciate some one who has already done this to answer couple of my questions.
1. As I am from India and now staying in USA on H1, Do we have to submit the police clearence cert. (from India) along with the application?? I know for USA, we need to wait until CIS advices us to do Finger Printing.

2. The application fee is mentioned as $550 per applicant. Is it US $ figure or Canadian dollar figure? I am assuming it is Canadian dollar figure, if so, to what amount I should get the money order for?? Can it be a single MO for me and my wife?

3. What kind of documentation needs to be provided to show English Lang. Proficiency as I did all my schooling and college in English Medium??

4. We are expecting our first baby in the next month, do you all think I need to wait until the baby is born or we can include the baby details after the birth so that me and my wife can apply now.?

I would really appreciate your inputs on this.

- Yes. From India required. you can get such PCC from Indian embassy in USA in $40 and 2 months of period. If you can manage to get such certificate from India, it works.

- Better make 2 different. It is Canadian $.


3. What kind of documentation needs to be provided to show English Lang. Proficiency as I did all my schooling and college in English Medium??

- If you can IELTS result, is the best, otherwise, submit application with your college certificates which says that you studied in English. But very soon, clear IELTs with 7.5 bands. That is the ultimate thing.

4. We are expecting our first baby in the next month, do you all think I need to wait until the baby is born or we can include the baby details after the birth so that me and my wife can apply now.?

- You can include baby detail, after you apply. But It will take 2 to 4 months to get File # after you both applied. and you will submit baby's detail against that file #. So, some delay will be there(But it will not be harmful). OR wait for 1 month. Baby will born, after that in 15 days baby's passport will be available, baby's picture etc. you can sublit while applying for baby. well, while applying you can inform them, you are expecting baby soon.
