pls. post exp. using AP (w/ I140 pending) @ JFK

I was wondering if you guys had issues coming back using AP @ JFK w/ I140 pending. I have a 2 week vacation this december and my first time outside the US since I got here 5 years ago.
I might pull the plug if I'm not comfortable with it.

AD - ?

EAD - got the card on 2/11/03 (renewal in process)

AP - Applied 8/22/03, approved 23 days later. Online still says "still processing .."

H1B -- good until Feb '04 but NOT stamped on passport
