Pls help, F-1, EAD/AOS

I have pending AOS (dependent beased on husband EB1, approved on September 2004). I was on F-1 till now but I want to switch to EAD (AOS-based, which was approved in March 2005). Will I face any problem with that? I mean future admission to a new academic semester. I am not planning to travel. I 've red some threads but it still confusing.

Applying AOS means you lost your F1 status. If you want to travel use the AP and use EAD for work. F1 is already invalid.
