Pls help - Expiring passport and visa stamping

My wife is planning to visit India for H4 visa stamping.

My wife's passport expiration date: April 2006
My H1B visa expiration date: Oct 2006

So when my wife apply for H4 visa stamping in India, her visa will be stamped until Oct 2006 but passport will expire before it.
- Will there be any issue during stamping?

I will highly appreciate your suggestions / help. Thank you.

Hi Kewl,

One thing your wife can do is to get the quick renewal of the Passport with the support your H1 so that she willl have the new passport valid for another 10 or 20 yrs depends on your request. Then she can go with the new passport. Hope the idea helps. I suggest you first inquire with the passport office from here so that time wont be wasted later.
