Pls help: Do i need a new H1 visa?????

I am going to India in Nov end to get married. I have two expired B-1 visas, 1 expired H1-B visa and a current H1-B visa valid till 2006 for my last employer. I changed my job a few months ago and have paystubs, LCA approval, I797 for new employer.

If I have to get my wife an H-4 visa (her first visa anywhere) do i need to apply for a new H1-B visa as well?

Or do i just send my passport and new I-797 and new I-129 and all other documents with her.

FWIW, I had gotten my current visa stamping in St. Louis earlier this year.

Please advise...

At present, you have validity of H1 till 2006. So, you don't need new H1-b tansfer unless you changed jobs again.

You have to send ur H1 papers +passport + latest pay stubs + Y2003 tax returns (now a days consulates insisting) + marriage registrn + 20 wedding photos.......

Mine was initially sent back asking more evidence of wedding as I attached 4 photos only...
