pls clarify for 140/485

gurus,

filed 140 in march 2004 ( concurrent filing)
filed 485/ead/ap in may 1st week 2004

got my eac #...
i been 2 weeks that my lawyer told me that he filed my 485/ead/ap
i sent personel checks, checks are not cashed yet. nothing is updated on the
online case status. is there a way to know if USCIS received my 485.
if at all they received how much time approximately they take to update. if they update, will there be a change in the message they post online(after receiving 485/ap/ead).
so far my attorney has been really good...it is unlikely that he has lied at the back of my mind am thinking attorney has not sent the papers out.

Wait for 2 more weeks. Your checks will be cashed. You can see your case number on back of retruned check and also your ND. You cannot do anything more than waiting.

will i have a case number for 485 ?? i thought as it was concurrent filing
it will go by 140 priority date. ru saying my case is not concurrent.??
i checked the box in the 140 form for concurrent. is that how uscis goin to decide its concurrent or not. or if all the 140/485/ead/ap comes in on packet is considered concurrent ?? pls explain.

I never said anything about concurrency in my post. Did I say it elsewhere? Please point me the link.

You will have different case numbers for all applications - each is assigned one - 140/485/AP/EAD.
