Pls Advice - Fax accepatable or not?

I am applying through EB-1 EA. My question is, will INS accept fax copy of the recommendation letters? People who r willing to write are asking whether they can fax the letter to me? please advice.

You can sumit photocopies of faxed letter. Ask them to send the original letter by regular mail. You may need original letters later. Do not do things in hurry. Take your own time and examine the letters carefully for phrases of extraordinary ability. It is one of the tough EB1 categories, though not impossible. Good luck!

Try to get at least 8-10 very good and strong recommendation letters from those who do not know you directly but know you through your work (independent and not closely related to your current job like your boss and colleague). Try to get letters from experts in your field from USA and outside USA.
AD: Approval Date (I-485)
PS: Passport Stamping (I-551)
PC: Plastic Card (waiting for physical green card)

If one or two letters are in fax form then it's ok but if all are fax copies then it will definitely raise questions and may trigger RFE. So be careful, ask your references to first fax you letters followed by mail. once you get the fax you can start working for your petion letter, you will have to use lot of excerpts from these reco letters.
