mine is a consular proecessing Chennai case as explained below :
IV visa received at Chennai consulate : 1.Jul.2004
did POE : 1.Nov.2004 (after 4 months)
returned back to india : 3 Nov 2004 (immediately after 3 days)

Now I am planning to leave my sponsoring employer as they dont have any assignments. I have got an offer from another employer.

I have received my Social Security card with the "INS authorisation..." removed and hope to get physical card soon

Will there be any immediate problems? I have not heard about 6 months rule as such. will it effect me?

Gurus, I would really appreciate if I can get some replies soon, as I have to acknowledge the new employer very soon. My current (i.e. sponsoring) employer is not having any assignments right now.

ARE THERE ANY CASES WHO HAD ANY PROBLEMS AFTER CHANGING EMPLOYER SO SOON?

Thanks

Not immediately. It might affect you at the time of your citizenship application. Search this board for multilpe threads on this very subject.

as i understand it, the physical card is valid for 10 years and after that, one has to just apply for renewal and we can get it for another 10 years. so what if I never want to apply for citizenship...apart from citizenship is there any problem, i can face?

atleast on this forum, i have never seen, a case having any problems with people who have changed job immediately..if the job condition is the same as specified in the labour/ is my understanding correct?

Thanks for the quick reply

so can anybody tell what wordings best can be written as a communication for future naturalisation purposes (in best interest of me) as I have the BEST intend to stay with the sponsoring company but I have to leave as they dont have any assignment for me (may be sponsoring company now has outsourced in india for cost savings and expects me to work here, but since it will effect my residency status, i will have no option but to leave?

Thanks for the replies, and would greatly appreciate if somebody can quciky through some light on above QUICKLY

I believe only the competent immigration lawyer would provide you with the best wording of such a letter. Seek legal help for that matter - you will be much better off.
