I am looking for people\'s experience with H1 Transfer following
Layoffs. Is INS allowing the Extension of Status (Approving a new H1B
along with a new I-94). Are they insisting on a paystub less than 30
days/60days old?

I think your replies will be greatly appreciated by a lot of people
waiting to get more information about this issue.

H1B Transfer Approval after Layoff

Three friends of mine had their H1B approval (H1B + Extension of Status with a new I-94) even though they were laid off for atleast 60days without any problem at CSC. All these approvals were applied after Sept 11th.

This should come a relief to many of the waiters for H1B Transfers on this period of economic downturn.
