Hello,

I think that my n400 is going to be designated to DO Santa Ana, CA.

Please, could anybody share some experience in this DO??. Interview, parking...

Thanks

Jukito,

I had my interview last month at Santa Ana DO and the officer was very nice and professional. My interview was scheduled at 7:45AM and I arrived at 7:15. You will have wait outside the building until the screening officer calls you in and you need to show him your appointment letter and ID. Then you have to take the elevator up to the 3rd or 4th floor (I can't remember exactly) and go to a waiting area where you drop in your appointment letter in a box (first window on the right); then, you wait.

When I got to the waiting area, there were about 7-8 people ahead of me. Around 8AM, the IO started calling people in for the interview. I was finally called in around 8:45. The interview process itself seems pretty standard; if you read people's interview experiences in this forum, then I'd say 85-90% of it is the same (checking the N400, the exam, and make copies of your ID & green card), especially if you have a straight forward case. I believe I was done around 9AM; so, it was a very fast process.

I parked across the street and I think it's $4 for the first hour and then $2 every 15 min after that. My oath letter came about 2 weeks after the interview and the ceremony was exactly 1 month after the interview. So, my suggestion to you is to continue to study and be relax. Good luck!
