My wife and I left the US on vacation last November, and returned on Advance Parole - and were paroled till November 2001.

We\'re now going to be leaving the US later this month for a couple of weeks, and while we\'re paroled till November 2001, I notice that the AP document says it needs to be presented to the INS prioir to March 2001.

Does this mean we will need to get new AP documents, or can we use the one that indicates that we are paroled through November 2001?

You MUST get new AP documents.

There is a provision to allow H1\'s to travel using their H1 visa, whilst an I-485
is pending. but as you\'ve already used AP you\'re no longer in H1 status
(assuming that was your prior status). You can regain H1 status if you
leave the country & re-enter using a valid H1 visa AND you\'re still eligible
i.e. working in the H1 job etc.
I\'m not a lawyer, check with one before you travel. Be very careful because
if you travel now (without AP) you will be considered to have abandoned your I-485

Thanks for your response. Will check with my attorney. Is there any way I can get a new AP quickly via my local INS office? Or do I have to get these from VSC?

Regarding urgent Advance parole,

Some local INS office issue AP (advance parole) on the same day for emergency situations. It really depends on the local INS office. I know INS Boston office does issue AP parole and EAD cards on the same day. You can check with your local INS office regarding this.

I hope this info helps you...
