My 140 and 485 are pending.....my H1B expired last month....Applied for extension and not approved yet...I am going to sponsor my parents to visit here...What to fill in the affidavit of support about my status..? H1B or EAD?...Thanks.

As long as you have not used your EAD card for employment (filled out a new I-9 with your employer using EAD) you are maintaining H-1B status. Only if you do that, you lose your H-1B and from then on you are "Adjustment of Status" (AOS).

Application of extension for H-1B (non-frivolus) is enough to maintain valid H-1B status.
