I got married after I applied my packet 3 and interview is on Jan 23. Do I need to send to consulate a request letter along with copies of marriage cert, birth cert, passport to add her to the GC process. I am not sure how I will come to know if she was added and then when I need to send her packet III. Do I need to revise my DS 230 part I and send it to the consulate to add my spouse. Please detail as I am confused

Send the marriage docs to the consulate

If the marriage is before the interview, soon after the interview send your spouse\'s birth certificate copy, marriage certificate copy and amended DS 230 Part I. Also include a covering letter specifiying the case number and requesting an interview.

Check Nov\'s successful CP\'ers links. Atleast 4 people were there with similar case like yours.
 
Send P3 for wife asap so that a visa number becomes available.

Ask preferably for the same interview date.
Chances are they will hold an interview for her two months later.
