My RFE was received by INS on August 26. The AVM says that this kind of case now would take 540 days for the processing. What does this mean? 540 more days !!!!!!!!!!!!

540 is the standard message. per the info on this board, it may take as short as a couples to get approved after you submit docs.

I also heard the same message when I calledup yesterday evening. My RFE was received on the 26th. Hope we hear the magic word soon

RFE was for marriage certificate to be isued in foreign language. I had original in English and they issued rfe to my husband for his/our marriage certificate to be in foreign language. funny one.
