Please Reply: Original or Copy

Hi,

I received a RFE for last 6 months for pay slips. Should I have sent the orginal or photocopy? I sent them the copy of the pay slips not the original. I saw a posting today where the guy sent the original pay slips and not the photocopy. DId i made a mistake?
Please reply you all. just write few words but please reply.

In my personal opinion, you only need to send photo-copies of any document requested by INS (unless that document is issued specifically for INS).


Keep in mind that you may need your pay-slips for future use ( for ex: in case of IRS audit).

I agree with Vivekm

Friend of mine got similar RFE (some time back in May 2002). He send only the copies and got his 485 approval in July.
